| The status quo of Lebanon will remain the same as long as Hezbollah keeps considering its regional accounts more than its Lebanese ones, the Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said on Friday.
"Lebanon's economy is not of the party's business but what interests it most is the Islamic republic in Iran...," Geagea said.
Geagea said that attacking Saudi Arabia was ok with Hezbollah because Iran approved it, "even though KSA has done nothing to harm Lebanon."
"We are trying to escape this fact, and our entente with the FPM was for that respect," he said and affirmed following up on this event with further steps.
On the municipal elections, Geagea counseled the people to understand that a municipality head should not be elected because of relativity reasons, but he should be elected because "he is young, active and someone who has the intention to perform developmental works."
On Zahle municipal elections, Geagea said it was illogical to have parties want to annul "political houses" only because they have a plan and a project to execute.
"We are facing a gathering for many victims especially after the LF-FPM entente," he said.
Geagea said that municipal elections were the door to administrative decentralization, reiterating calls on the people to elect a strong municipality head.
